September Gig Highlights
1. Freak Show Featuring The Daybreakers

Step into a multi-sensory rock’n’roll circus, brought to you by Starship Presents! Freak Show features an eclectic lineup headlined by The Daybreakers, a maximum rock’n’roll trio known for their raw, powerful sound. Their music reflects the grit of London life, and their high-energy performances are unforgettable. The evening also includes performances by Melody Nelson, a legendary alt-rock trio reuniting for a series of UK shows, Jamie Perrett with his punk troubadour anthems, and Jo-Jo & The Teeth, who are reviving the glam rock spirit with swaggering riffs and soulful vocals. The Meyer Dancers will add an extra layer of excitement with their groovy dance routines.

Grungers are the torchbearers of a new grunge revival. Their sound is a raw, powerful blend of ’90s grunge influences with modern psych-rock elements. With fuzzed-out guitars, driving rhythms, and emotionally charged vocals, they create a high-energy atmosphere that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Having opened for iconic bands like FEEDER at Brixton Academy, their London headline show at The Underworld is set to be a night of unrelenting energy and sonic intensity.
3. Civil War Homegrown All Dayer

The ‘Homegrown’ All-Dayer at The Black Heart is a celebration of the stoner rock and heavy-psych genres. The lineup features Trevor’s Head, known for their hard-hitting riffs and hypnotic grooves, Lunar Effect with their cosmic and immersive soundscapes, and Rhino from Italy, whose music fuses elements of doom and psychedelic rock and Circus Cannon who make unreasonable loud psychedelic rock – already on at 15.30, so don’t miss them! This event promises a day filled with heavy, atmospheric, and fuzz-drenched rock. Get a first taste for Lunar Effect – we are organising a headliner concert with them very soon!
4. Dirty Sound Magnet

Swiss trio Dirty Sound Magnet are renowned for their innovative take on psychedelic and alternative rock. Their latest album, “Dreaming In Dystopia,” combines elements of ’70s hard rock with contemporary psychedelia, creating a sound that’s both expansive and intense. Their live shows are a blend of swirling guitar effects, groovy rhythms, and an overall shamanic experience, drawing comparisons to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
