Amyl And The Sniffers Dazzle At Underworld
“I don’t give a fuck. Not a single fuck. Not a single solitary fuck… motherfucker.” All hail the new queen of punk rock. Amyl and the Sniffers at the Underworld was a gig that can only be described as RAW POWER. Real and unapologetic. Think The Distillers / X-ray Specs / SexPistols / Bikini Kill. If you like any of those bands, then this is the new school. They should take over the world. But they might not care to – they will whatever the fuck they want and you will love it.

Amyl is a force on stage that was pure energy and unstoppable. If Iggy and Courtney Love had babies she would be the first born with Courtney Barnett tones in her voice. Guitar was gnarly with crass licks and riffs from Declan Martins with his sheer ‘punk can be anything’ vibe which kept punk rock purists at bay.
Your side burns will be blown away after seeing Amyl and the Sniffers’ take on life head on. Left us begging for more.
