This will be a full-on evening of driving beats, rich sounds and powerful female vocalist from these UK-bands.

Birdeatsbaby (prog rock, industrial) will throw a mix of industrial/metal at you encased in twisted layers of sophisticated instrumentals. Lead singer and pianist Mishkin Fitzgerald is full of wicked ideas that will be unleashed in this vast space. She will be with the full band, bottled-up unhappily away from fans for so long.

Tiffany Twisted (rock) is a new band headed up by Hetti Harper and Adam Davies ready to blast your ears. We’ve been hanging out with this rising rock band over the last year in studios, venues and on the live streams and they are top-flight band not shy on guitar-hero solos. Their first EP was recorded over at Abbey Road on the Dolby Atmos system. It’s great rock.  Check out the digital gig show we filmed with them at the Black Heart during the lockdown.

Dakka Skanks (ska, punk) blends a ska beat with punk attitude for fast-paced, lively tracks that challenge your sense of what is normal.  They pull in an established Jamaican dance beat sprinkled with indie-rock guitar and catchy choruses to give this band a truly fresh and new sound. Clara Byrne’s mesmerizing lead vocal cuts through like a wave of emotion, her lyrical content straight from the soul, with serious social issues explored through dramatic delivery. Josh Bowes then throws some London lingo over the top, bouncing back and forth with Clara, as the band steer the music along delivering uplifting sounds. They played on an early lives stream show and we loved their sound and energy.
