Phillip Rambow and The Snowflake Generation
It’s stream time, baby!
And it starts with Phillip Rambow with his Dylan-esque vocals and rough and ready country set. He performed for the artists4nhs series on the youtube in April and is signed by the same label as Ronan McManus, who will be playing on the stream on the 29th of Sept. He did some stuff back in 1979. His band backed Brian Eno and Lou Reed back in the day. Looking forward to this one.
Next up are The Snowflake Generation. This is an indie rock band where you have to use the search words ‘band’ and ‘music’ alongside it, otherwise you will fall down an internet rabbit hole that you will want to get out of real fast!
This 5-piece from Birmingham will be treating us to acoustic vibes for the best sound. These guys seem young, so I’m looking forward to seeing them grow their sound. Influences include the 1975 and the Foo Fighters. Definitely a good place to start.
