February 14, 2025 – Valentine’s Day at The Dublin Castle
Looking for love? You might just find it in the front row of this night’s gig 😉
CMDN Live invites you to spend Valentine’s Day at the iconic Dublin Castle, where an eclectic lineup of incredible artists will take you on a musical journey. Love is in the air, and it’s electric! Whether you’re spending the evening with a partner, friends, or solo, this gig is all about celebrating love through music.
Date or no date, one thing’s for sure—you’re guaranteed to fall in love… with this lineup!
The Lineup:
- The Deniros
A psychedelic rock and soul powerhouse, The Deniros are known for their fiery riffs, dreamy melodies, and passionate performances. Their sound channels the best of the ’60s and ’70s while adding a modern twist, making them a must-see for fans of The Doors and Jefferson Airplane. - The Tarn Francois Trio
Bringing southern rock grooves infused with funk and blues, this trio delivers infectious rhythms and spirited jams. Their music feels like a road trip through America’s deep south, with nods to legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers Band. - Ben Joseph and The Lay-Lows
With roots in Alabama and New Orleans, Ben Joseph and The Lay-Lows blend country, blues, and rock to create a soulful and emotive sound. Their performances are heartfelt and raw, transporting listeners straight to the heart of America’s musical heritage. - Mark Shepherd
End the evening with the hauntingly beautiful acoustic rock of Mark Shepherd. His dark Americana style, reminiscent of Nick Cave and Johnny Cash, is perfect for those who appreciate poetic lyricism and a touch of melancholy.

February 15, 2025 – Margarita Witch Cult at Camden Assembly
This is the headline gig of the month, and for good reason. Margarita Witch Cult is bringing their signature mix of sludge, thrash, and proto-metal to Camden Assembly. Hailing from Birmingham—the birthplace of heavy metal—this trio has been making waves with their unrelenting riffs and hypnotic stage presence.

About Margarita Witch Cult:
The band has been described as “disciples of the riff,” and their sound is deeply rooted in Sabbath City’s metal legacy. If you like Black Sabbath, Uncle Acid, Electric Wizard… this is a gig you shouldn’t miss! Their music is a blend of doom-laden heaviness and high-energy thrash. Tracks like “Death Lurks at Every Turn” and “Be My Witch” showcase their ability to create songs that are both crushing and captivating, my personal favourite – especially with this music video:
Expect a night of unholy, riff-fueled mayhem. Margarita Witch Cult’s live performances are nothing short of electric, with thunderous drums, bone-shaking basslines, and guitar solos that will leave you spellbound. Fans of doom, this one’s for you.
