Tizane – ‘Tizane’, a band from South East London, United Kingdom and recently released their latest album, ‘Forever Is Nothing.’ Tizane bring together elements of Pop, Rock and alternative music to create a sound that is uniquely their own. Their music is characterised by memorable hooks, thought-provoking lyrics, and an irresistible blend of live instruments and electronic production. Similar artists include: Paramore, Olivia Rodrigo, Phoebe Bridgers, Wolf Alice ‘Forever is Nothing’ has arrived. Full of angst-ridden anthems, all ten songs serve up a beguiling brew of lyrical lament and gut-wrenching guitar, cooked up for brave hearts and big stages. Heavy Magazine said this – ‘You can almost feel the venom simmering just below the surface, and it sounds like this band has a bit of anger and angst to let loose on the world’. Tizane have been together for about a year and were an immediate good fit both artistically and emotionally. No surprise then that their music should sound so authentic and free flowing. Music and Television critic, Garry Bushell wrote in the Daily Mirror: ‘People compare lead singer, Tizane with Phoebe Bridgers but actually the group’s music is much bolder and rockier! They wrong foot you with gentle intros that grow into huge festival anthems.’ Garry is not alone in heaping plaudits on the band, and has recently been joined by Classic Rock Magazine, Planet Rock and even The Beeb. Band members are Tizane on guitar and vocals, Charlie Harris on lead guitar, Greg Titmarsh on drums and Nathan Gordon on bass.

A Void – what in the fourchette genou are you doing here?? I bet you can already feel your limbs waving around in an onche onche ondulé motion, this is only the start. In about 15 minutes, you’ll get a tingling sensation in your nostrils and oysters will start slipping out your eye sockets, before a 17 feet long iguana gets released from a less pleasant orifice. you’re welcome.

A VOID are a self-styled 3 piece rock band based in London, UK. They fuse the spirit of sonic grunge to a DIY punk aesthetic fueled by Boursin Cheese and pickle juice. Influences include Sonic Youth, Hole, Deftones, Bjork, Daniel Balavoine, Charles Aznavour.
Formed in Paris by singer/guitarist Camille Alexander in 2015, the band unleashed their first EP, Roses As Insides, in June 2016, before cannibalistic tendencies got the better of original drummer Roman Zaborski and bassist Robin Dickinson. Camille quickly enlisted the hard- hitting drumming skills and harmonious vocals of Marie Niemiec, before they sought exile in London. The band
gigged as a two-piece until they discovered their bassist, Aaron Hartmann, lurking on a park bench.
The band independently birthed their debut full-length album, Awkward And Devastated, in
November 2018, and celebrated by performing dual album release gigs at The Windmill in Brixton
and Supersonic in Paris. In March 2019, A VOID were the only band that featured female musicians to be shortlisted from
300 applications for the Northern Exposure/INmusic Festival contest, and were invited to perform
in the final at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool. The band self-released their second album Dissociation in September 2022, from which they released five singles: Sad Events Reoccur, Stepping On Snails, Newspapers, 5102 and Sick As A
Dog. Each of these singles comes along with a music video with unique sets carefully imagined and
crafted by the band themselves, directed and edited by frontwoman Camille Alexander, featuring
paper planes, snails crawling on their faces, and piles of newspapers. Dissociation was created
during 2020-21 lockdown, recorded, mixed and mastered by Jason Wilson whose production credits include You Me At Six, Don Broco, Dinosaur Pile-up and Reuben. Stepping On Snails received over 46 000 plays on Spotify since its release in August 2021 and Newspapers, 39 000 since April 2022. Both track have been featured in major Spotify editorial
playlists such as All New Rock, Smells Like Stream Spirit, Volume France and Post-Grunge
Appreciation. Three of the singles from Dissociation have received national radio plays on Ouï FM
and RTL2 (France), Radio X (UK) and Radio FM4 (Austria).
The band celebrated the release of this second album with a packed show at the Shacklewell Arms
which they organized themselves, and a live showcase and signing of their 12” vinyl (distributed by
Punk Fox Records via Rough Trade) at Rough Trade East.
In February 2023, A Void played their first ever shows in Germany, supporting SUN (FR/DE), and
Sorry (UK) on their Cologne and Hamburg show in the mythical Molotow club, as well as playing a
sold out headline show in Berlin at Schokoladen.
The band follows this tour by the release of ‘2023’, a tongue in cheek single about the end of the
world which was aired Alyx Holcombe’s show on BBC Radio 1 as well as getting included into
major Spotify playlists such as All New Rock and Alternative Noise.
A VOID consistently play incendiary shows across their native Paris and adopted home city of
London, and frequently spread their chaos further afield to other cities such as Brighton,
Nottingham, Liverpool and occasionally venturing into Europe (Netherlands, Germany) ! The band
are available for gig bookings, birthday celebrations, wedding receptions, fromage shop openings

and any event requiring a heavy dose of “buzz-saw grunge pop that combines bitter grit and a self-
effacing lyrical charm…” (The Vapour Trail).

A VOID have performed shows for a variety of emblematic live music venues in the UK and
France, including Concorde 2, Bus Palladium, the Cavern Club, The Dome, Belgrave Music Hall,
Molotow Club and have shared stages with Sorry, Calva Louise, The Wytches The Pearl Harts,
SUN, Skating Polly, The SoapGirls, Hands Off Gretel amongst many others. The band win over
new converts at every show they perform and have built up a significant social media presence.
They are currently recording their 3rd album with Grammy winning producer Shuta Shinoda,
expected spring 2024.
