TERRORVISION / at ELECTRIC BALLROOM
Formed in 1988, Terrorvision’s aim to be the biggest band from Bradford (beginning with ‘T’) still holds true. Five hit albums and 13 Top 40 singles (peaking at No.2!) between 1993 and 2001 saw them catapulted from pub gigs in Yorkshire to arena’s and major festival stages across Europe.
Whether they were doo-wopping their way to Oblivion, hailing the advice of whales and dolphins in Perseverance, or celebrating the mind-altering properties of a certain strain of cactus juice, Terrorvision made friends and influenced fans across the world and confirmed themselves as the ‘go to’ rock band for festival fun and games throughout the 90s. 2001 saw an end to the ride. Frazzled and brain-fried after ten straight years on the road, the band went their separate ways to try out other things, in life and in music. A handful of gigs and festival appearances from 2005-2010 led to the band writing and releasing their first album for ten years, Super Delux. Touring Super Delux throughout 2012 (with everything turned up to 11) left the band somewhat fried and mangled all over again, so everyone split for calmer waters and new challenges. An out-of-the-blue invitation from Thunder to guest on their 2016 arena shows was the impetus the band needed to get back in a room together, and since then Terrorvision have been out to play a handful of gigs each year, to increasingly large crowds, in increasingly bigger venues, the likes of which they haven’t played since the 1990s.

YNGWIE MALMSTEEN / at ELECTRIC BALLROOM
Swedish craftsman has continually developed his music makes Malmsteen sublimely transcend any definition you attempt to impose.
He now has a catalogue of 21 solo studio albums, each of which has much to commend. Moreover, the guitarist played a crucial role in helping to establish Alcatrazz as a significant force in the 1980s.
Malmsteen’s artistry has always clearly incorporated a healthy virtuosity, but his talent goes well beyond a comprehensive control of the guitar. The man is a fine composer and, on recent releases, has also showcased a strong vocal presence.

SOAP GIRLS supported by GENERATION and HEALTHY JUNKIES / at DUBLIN CASTLE
SOAP GIRLS – Armed with unforgettable melodies and catchy choruses, The SoapGirls energy, rawness and authenticity live, has earned a formidable reputation.
Performing internationally and continuously since 2015, these fearless French born sisters Millie and Mie, have slayed critics and earned a global dedicated group of followers known as the ‘The SoapSuds’, some of who follow the band across the UK and Europe. The SoapGirls are society’s rejects and their punk credentials were rubber stamped by scintillating performances at many festivals including the legendary Rebellion Festival and Camden Rocks festival last year and such was the their success that they have inevitably been asked to perform again 2019 whilst on their last tour Sniff My Strap promoting their much anticipated album Elephant in the Room. The pandemic hit, and while the world stood still in 2020-21, the fearless sisters persevered at the polar opposite, embracing the news of cancelled tours to deliver over 400 live-streamed shows, taking fans on a raucous virtual worldwide tour, from country to country, theme to theme, and with not one set, costume or theme the same [view on YouTube]. In addition to playing all over the UK and Europe, this marks the first time they are touring the United States and Japan, performing shows in nine countries! The SoapGirls write outsider anthems that are androgynous, audacious and straight from the heart. Following the release of their album Societys Rejects, the band have appeared in Classic Rock Magazine, The Mirror and Vive Le Rock, while their last two singles were played on BBC Radio and play listed by Planet Rock Radio as well as various other stations. - GENERATION – Cladded in leather, lace & liquor, Generation is every parent’s worst nightmare. Known more for their larger-than-life personas than for their scarce release history, it’s safe to say that Generation are a band who don’t do half-measures. Hattie, James & Dean hail from the north of England, but it was in the dingy venues of Camden Town that they made a name for themselves as a band “you have to see live”. Combining the raw spirit of rock & roll with anthemic hooks and modern production, Generation are creating a niche all of their own. After a month in LA, 2024 promises exciting things for Generation, including new music. Check out their socials here: Instagram – Spotify – Youtube
- HEALTHY JUNKIES – Mixing Punk Rock with Grunge, Psychedelic Rock, New Wave, Garage, Glam and Goth Rock, add a soupçon of theatre and you have Healthy Junkies. Glamorous yet rebel lead punkster Nina Courson moved to London after she ran away from her home in Paris to pursue her own rock n roll rite of passage.. Destiny awaited when she found guitarist Phil-Honey-Jones in a Soho gig called PUNK in 2009. The two went on their way seeking solace in the world of music. Naming the band Healthy Junkies, reflecting the mental health epidemic currently spreading like wildfire through the core of western society. Nina and Phil arrived at this name as a reaction/rebellion to the numbing and dumbing down of nations with the use of so many pharmaceutical meds such as Prozac and other addictive drugs. The name has now taken on an even broader meaning with ‘Health’ being so high on the world agenda! In late 2013 Healthy Junkies added Dave Whitmore on bass and Tony Alda on drums hitting the road in the UK and Europe building a decent size following, filling the Arena stage room for Rebellion Punk Festival 3 times now. Support slots have included The Rezillos, Sham 69, The UK Subs, Walter Lure, The Professionals, GBH, Vice Squad, Theatre of hate, The Sex gang children, Goldblade, Viv Albertine (The Slits ), 999, The Vibrators and Spizz Energi. Other major UK festivals the band have played are Camden Rocks festival and HRH Punk festival at the academy in Sheffield. They toured the US West Coast for the first time in October/November 2018. Rodney Bingenheimer (Sirius XM /KROQ DJ) and Brian Foss (KEXP Radio in Seattle) gave the band many airplay spins which inspired them to make that leap over the pond.. They have been played on the likes of BBC Radio London introducing by Gary Crowley, BBC 6 Fresh on the net with Tom Robinson ( 3 times ), BBC Jersey, Amazing Radio, Planet Rock, Total Rock, Lava TV, BT Sport and Blank TV. as well as many Internet Radio stations on a regular basis. They were part of a music documentary called The United Kingdom of pop, a 32 part series which tells the story of Rock’n’roll from its beginnings to now alongside legends such as DJ Don Letts and Lynval Golding from the Specials. It was presented and shown on ARTE TV which is one of the most important channels in France and Germany with millions of viewers. They have also appeared and featured in numerous magazines such as Vive le Rock,Louder than War, Big Cheese Magazine, Big take over magazine, Devolution Magazine, Punk Globe, Eighth Day, Punk Lounge. Safety Pin Magazine as well as a whole host of online magazines and blogs. The band have recently released their 5 th studio album entitled ‘Forever on the road part 1. The reviews so far are exceeding any preconceived expectation. 10 out of 10 being the latest from Powerplay magazine. This was made during lockdown along with 3 videos of singles off the album. The third ‘Tricky Situation’ is the latest single and video to be unleashed into the unsuspecting lockdown world. Phil and Nina also have been running their own monthly night in Camden, London for eight years now. It is called Punk and Roll Rendezvous. The night became such a phenomenon that they decided to host a 3-day festival which they did in 2017, 2018, 2019… 2020 was filmed in the venue ( 30 bands )and presented live online as an interactive experience. The criteria for the night is FREE entry and always with at least one band on the bill from outside London, sometimes abroad. Some people liken in to the CBGBs scene in New York in days gone by. Punk and roll rendezvous and Healthy junkies have one main goal; that is to bring people together. People from across the board wishing to express themselves and be authentic without prejudice. Healthy Junkies are looking to burn out the liars with fire… Check out their socials here:
