A veteran of over 40 albums, the 4x Grammy award winner revolutionised the bass and its role from simply being part of the rhythm section to becoming a dynamic lead instrument. Over his expansive career Clarke has picked up prestigious accolades from the Miles Davis award, NEA Jazz Master Fellowship, and the Bass Player magazine Lifetime Achievement Award.
