The Country Diary in Song with Broomdasher

Main Artist

Almost thirty of the most popular traditional folk songs – including Wild Mountain Thyme; Bushes and Briars; The Seeds of Love and If I was a Blackbird – take you on a journey through the year in a musical version of The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady - with proceeds going to St Michael's Church funds. Broomdasher's folk musical has been playing to sold-out houses across the country throughout the Autumn, recreating a nostalgic, heart-warming and intimate atmosphere - in which you also have a chance to join in the choruses. Broomdasher are: Chris Hayes; Deena Marcus-Jedamzik; Josephine Swinhoe; Margaret Moore and Richard Cryan. The London-based acapella group have many years of experience between them and first came together in 2017. Since then, they have created an enviable reputation for their arrangements, harmonies and engaging live shows.
