Nnic, Traipse, Brooke & Vic Allen
Some pretty awesome artists on the stream on the 30th 8pm (UK time).
Nnic’s beautiful flowing voice can move you in its undertow. ‘The Place’ has featured on Spotify’s ‘The Most Beautiful Songs in the World’ playlist. Figures. Although I find tracks like ‘Grow’ just as compelling through the combination of icy electronic backing and natural vocals.
Traipse are an alt-grunge band from London, we’ll be joined by Jude Benjamin, lead singer for this stonker of a live stream. I think this interview says it all.
James Kirch’s (guitar) supersonic songs (Chase the Day/The Dynamite Club) are infused with disparate influences, making Traipse refreshingly different – a mix of electro landscapes and bass grooves. Jude lets all hell loose with his raw and edgy vocals. Anna Mylee brings her full on rhythmical assaults to the three-piece as their kick ass drummer.
We also have Brooke, who has a really refreshing voice and attitude, she’s fresh faced and accompanied by her keys, has an honesty that makes her extremely relatable…
Vic Allen has a poptastic voice that could sit quite happily in the pop country genre, Avril Lavigne eat your heart out … She writes emotive songs that could be comparable to Kelly Clarkson or Adele’s songs. One to watch (in general and on our live stream) …
