Our next gig is around the corner – this Friday at Camden Club we will have a mix of Indie, Blues and Psych Rock with some incredible bands: Teddy Clarke, Parlay, the Deniros and the Locals!

MEET THE DENIROS!
The Deniros are a psychedelic rock ‘n’ soul band that packs a punch. Take the unbridled energy of 60s electric rock ‘n’ roll, the DIY spirit of 70s punk rock and add a dash of British austerity-era disillusion; dress it up in some vintage suits, and you’re pretty close to the essence of The Deniros. With their loose improvisational style and raw, unprocessed sound underpinned by tight songwriting and surreal lyricism, The Deniros shift playfully between genres and constantly surprise. Blending joy, absurdity and darkness in equal measure, The Deniros create a listening experience that is both confronting and cathartic.
Known for their high energy performances and community spirit, The Deniros have packed out independent venues across London and drawn crowds with their surprise open air sets. Having received rave reviews for their performance at Spain’s Cala Mijas Festival 2023, as well as their weekly residency at The National Portrait Gallery, The Deniros have drawn comparisons to contemporary acts like Fontaines D.C. and Sports Team by way of 60s bands like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Pink Floyd and The Beatles.

MEET PARLAY!
Parlay are a London rock band comprised of four friends with a massive creative output. The group’s four songwriters have their own styles and influences which has formed into a unique sound that’s set them apart on every stage they’ve played. They’ve become known for exciting shows full of energetic live performances of their original music through a residency at the Troubadour London, where they’ve built an engaged local following. Songs of theirs have been likened to early Cage the Elephant, Supertramp, The Police, and many more, but don’t let that define what’s up next.
MEET TEDDY CLARKE!
Teddy Clarke is an upcoming artist raised between Hertfordshire and North London. Taking inspiration from various decades and cinematic music to create his own take on indie-pop. Teddy is becoming recognised for his high energy performances having played venues such as The Camden Assembly, The Water Rats, The Corn Exchange, Sebright Arms and many others. Teddy has received support from BBC Introducing (radio play, live sessions & festival slots), Amazing Radio (radio play and featured playlists) and various regional stations. Online he has been described as ‘Authentically Unapologetic’ and ‘his creativity is brimming; each track is different to the last, but each remains intrinsically Teddy Clarke.’
